Fenix-Premier Tech heads into the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift with a versatile seven-rider lineup, ready to make its mark across every type of terrain. Leading the team is Puck Pieterse, who targets a stage victory.
Puck Pieterse is already ambitious. "I want to win a stage," says the Dutchwoman. "I'm not necessarily looking at the general classification. We're going to take it day by day and see which days suit me best.”
Puck is also very pleased with the depth of the team selection. “The team consists of a mix of classic types and climber types. For the flat stages you have Charlotte Kool, Millie Couzens and Christina Schweinberger, and for the tougher stages, Lotte Claes, Sara Casasola and Yara Kastelijn. It's essentially a truly complementary selection.”
"We've also had a great preparation behind us. After my last mountain bike race, I immediately went on altitude training camp with the rest of the team. We didn't do anything crazy, just trained well and worked on what I wanted to work on. So hopefully we'll now reap the rewards of that."
